On May 19, SOLLERS PJSC and AZERMASH LLC signed a memorandum on cooperation in the production of Sollers light commercial vehicles in the Republic of Azerbaijan within the forum “Russia-Islamic World: KazanForum”.
SOLLERS PJSC General Director Nikolay Sobolev and AZERMASH LLC Management Committee Chairman Emin Akhundov put their signatures on the document.
The memorandum proposes organising the production of Sollers light commercial vehicles at AZERMASH, using components imported from Russia.
Under the memorandum, the parties have also agreed to work on meeting local demand, organising vehicle exports, and arranging the exchange of vehicle assembly specialists between Russia and Azerbaijan.
