SOLLERS has announced the creation of its SOLLERS Engineering center designed to consolidate the intellectual potential of the group. The engineering center will specialize in design and engineering as well as in research and development in the field of mechanical engineering.
SOLLERS Engineering LLC will focus on developments for the automotive and related industries, such as agriculture and railroad rolling stock, as well as for other industries.
The engineering center will have subsidiaries in close proximity to the largest engineering conglomerations — in the Ulyanovsk, Nizhny Novgorod, and Samara Regions and in the Republic of Tatarstan. The staff will consist of more than 500 employees including but not limited to highly qualified construction engineers, production engineers, designers, and test engineers.
In addition, an accredited independent testing facility forming a part of SOLLERS Engineering will be used for the validation and certification of the products under development.
According to Yury Alexakov, Director of SOLLERS Engineering LLC, the new engineering center has unrivalled capabilities in terms of executing full-cycle projects and the development of complex and comprehensive products like cars.
“We can see both consistent growth of external demand for engineering services and a shortage of the corresponding manpower on the free market. Entry into the engineering services market in related mechanical engineering industries will open up new opportunities for the development of our company. Client interactions will be based on an original digital platform with the use of big data and neural networks that will integrate both largest players on the engineering services market in Russia, and small engineering companies,” said Yury Alexakov.
