Security System Components LLC, a subsidiary of SOLLERS PJSC, has received a RUB 1.2 bln preferential loan from the Industrial Development Fund (IDF) to establish local production of passive safety system components.
Under the project, the UAZ industrial park is the planned site for the manufacture of such critical components as airbags, steering wheels, seat belts and electronic system control units. Serial production is planned for launch in 2025.
The IDF preferential loan, raised through the Autocomponents program, will be used to purchase new equipment: foam filling machines, component assembly lines, cutting and sewing equipment, a line for assembling printed circuit boards and passive safety system control units, as well as testing equipment for checking all components and products.
Products will be delivered to SOLLERS Group companies, as well as to other Russian manufacturers of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
The project envisions creating more than 200 new jobs. The total investments will amount to RUB 1.5 bln.
