SOLLERS Engineering and HJS Join Forces to Improve Environmental Performance of Russian Motor Vehicles

Berlin, 18 February — SOLLERS Engineering LLC has signed a cooperation agreement with German company HJS Emission Technology GmbH & Co KG.

The document was signed at the “Innovations as a Driver of Economic Growth” business forum, attended by Russia's Minister of Trade and Industry, Denis Manturov.

The partnership involves the transfer of technologies for treatment of exhaust gases in the field of transport engineering, and for the reduction of emissions in the manufacturing and public utilities sectors.

According to Yury Alexakov, General Director of SOLLERS Engineering LLC, the companies have agreed to establish a Unified Competence Centre for their joint projects in the Russian Federation.

“Today environmental issues are at the top of the agenda for international organisations, the governments of almost all every country in the world, and socially responsible business communities. Together with our German partners, we want to provide Russian companies with unique products, technologies and experience that comply with the highest global standards in this field,” said Yury Alexakov.

In the nearest future, the parties will define top-priority projects for joint implementation, after which HJS will offer technical solutions and essential support to SOLLERS Engineering's local team of engineers and technicians. The agreement will be in force for two years and may then be extended at the discretion of the parties.
