SOLLERS Alabuga LLC has received a RUB 3.4 bln preferential loan from the Industrial Development Fund (IDF) to implement a project for the production of die-cast body parts for Sollers Atlant and Sollers Argo vehicles.

Serial production of die-cast components using Russian steel is planned for launch in the second quarter of 2025 at the plant of the project’s local partner. According to plans, the technology for production of 120 body and cabin parts for Sollers commercial vehicles, as well as for control of the manufactured components’ geometry, will be implemented at the plant.

The total production volume for Sollers Atlant and Sollers Argo vehicles will reach 40,000 kits per year.

The funds raised from the preferential loan extended by the IDF under its Autocomponents program will be used to purchase new production equipment and die tooling.

“SOLLERS continues implementing its program of onshoring, the most ambitious in the group’s history. Die-forging production of body parts will be organized using entirely Russian metal, and the use of new grades of steel, including galvanized steel, will help improve the corrosion resistance and consumer properties of Sollers commercial vehicles, which are important for our customers,” Nikolay Sobolev, CEO of Sollers PJSC, remarked.
