The 200,000th Car Rolls Off MAZDA SOLLERS Assembly Line in Vladivostok

16.01.2020

In January 2020, the 200,000th car rolled off the assembly line of the MAZDA SOLLERS plant in Vladivostok. The landmark car is a premium-grade 7-seat Mazda CX-9 SUV, the flagship of the Mazda range in Russia.

The 200,000th car was the top-of-the-range Mazda CX-9 with Executive trim in Machine Gray. The car features an 8-inch display, a projection screen on the windshield, ventilation of the front seats, a frameless internal mirror, a 360°-all-round camera, and a set of intelligent security systems that make it possible to track blind spots, markings, and road signs. The interior with Nappa leather upholstery and unique interior design elements made of natural Japanese ash on the front console is a hallmark of this configuration.

The Mazda CX-9 SUV is equipped with a SkyActiv-G 2.5 litre direct injection turbocharged petrol engine producing 231 hp. The car's ground clearance is 220 mm, which is enough to overcome most bumps, to climb a curb safely or to cope with snow-covered roads. The Mazda CX-9 has an ergonomic 7-seat passenger compartment which will comfortably accommodate a large family, as well as a roomy trunk.

It is worth noting that the largest, most powerful, fastest and also quietest Mazda car is offered in four equipment configurations – Active, Supreme, Exclusive and Executive.

Looking back, the production of Mazda cars started at the MAZDA SOLLERS JV site in Vladivostok in 2012. MAZDA SOLLERS Manufacturing Rus is a joint venture of Mazda Motor Corporation of Japan and SOLLERS PJSC of Russia. The company currently produces Mazda CX-9 and Mazda CX-5 SUVs and Mazda6 sedans. In 2019, the plant launched mass production of Mazda SkyActiv-G 2.0 engines.
