A total of 116 specially equipped motor vehicles will be delivered to the different electricity distribution companies in the group.
Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant (a SOLLERS Group member) will supply a batch of special vehicles to power grid operator Rosseti this August intended for the group's regular maintenance personnel and emergency crews. A total of 116 vehicles will be delivered, including Patriot, Pickup, and Hunter models, as well as the classic UAZ 4WD van painted in company blue, bearing the Rosseti logo, and equipped in accordance with the customer's requirements.
“Currently UAZ is building up an order portfolio for Q3 and Q4 2020, and developing an optimistic outlook for production growth based on forward purchases of motor vehicles by a number of government ministries and agencies. Orders from the Ministry of Defense,
the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard and the Federal Security Service have already been confirmed. In Q4, UAZ expects
to fulfill commissions from large state-owned companies. Also contributing to the gradual recovery of demand are the state-sponsored programs 'My First Car' and 'Family Car', which UAZ is participating in,” said UAZ LLC Deputy General Director for Sales and Marketing Sergey Travkin.
It is worth recalling here that since 10 July UAZ has been operating on a reduced schedule, with three Fridays this month declared non-working days. The work schedule in Q3 and Q4 will be determined in line with the portfolio of orders. Forward purchases of vehicles by the state sector already take up a significant part of the enterprise's capacity, accounting for up to one third of its total production output today.
